Craic Wisely, November 16 at The Black Rose [Oct. 9th, 2007|12:42 am]
Craic Wisely fan blog

[mood |happyCraic'n]

So it happens that neither the Dublin Square or the Friends of Celtic Culture shows happened.
The October 20 Quinn & Tuite's show is up in the air too, it seems.

However, Clay informs me that the next show is a go for:
Friday, November 16th at The Black Rose in Grand Rapids.
So... maybe the Craic Head Nation can rally around the band and show them that "we" still know how to raze the roof!

So set your callenders for the weekend before Thanksgiving!  If you haven't heard "Cobblestone Road" or "Pride", this is gonna be your chance to hear it, I'm sure.

If I get more information, I'll post it here and on www.craicstuff.com!

*Also, keep an eye open for information regarding the release party for Beyond Awaits
"The Contemporary Requiem".

Craic Wisely performing at the Michigan Irish Music Festival in Muskegon Michigan, September 14-16, 2007CRAIC WISELY will be performing once again at the Muskegon Irish Music Festival, both on stage (Saturday and Sunday) and at Rafferty's Friday and Saturday nights! (Rafferty's is at the Shoreline Inn.)

You can purchase your tickets online too.
3-day passes are $20
Friday passes are $6
Saturday passes are $12
Sunday passes are $10

Get a $2 off coupon here!
(as long as the link works)

If things go as they have in the past, you'll need tickets to get into the festival and see Craic Wisely on the stages.  But Rafferty's is FREE! (well, except for the food and drinks!  Those you have to buy or have bought for you. ;) )

The times of their stage performances will be posted here, but figure that their Rafferty times will begin at the usual 8 or 9.  Come early to get a table.

When Craic plays at a hotel housing some of the festival's other acts, you never know who will show up or what will happen. ;)

Less than one week until the final "Celtic Sunday Series" for the season! [Apr. 24th, 2007|11:47 pm]
Craic Wisely fan blog

[mood |Craic'n]

Less than one week until the final "Celtic Sunday Series" for the season!

Have you set aside the time to come see it?!?
This coming Sunday, April 29th, is the culmination of a four month run of the "Celtic Sunday Series" at the Ionia Theatre in Downtown Ionia MI. The line up is one of the best this season. All we need to make this show a success is an audience! (That's where you come in!)
To learn more about these acts, visit www.celticsundayseries.org
Snow shouldn't keep you from next week's Celtic Sunday Series... and even if it's beautiful, the place to be next Sunday is The Ionia Theatre! Here are the acts we have in store for the "Finale!"
THE GLEN ERIN PIPE BAND - Winning second place at one of last year's Celtic Battle of the Bands was not so surprising for this award winning, crowd pleasing, Lansing based Bag Pipe and Drum Band. We're happy to have them back again this year as our opening act!
ARCHIVE - New to our series, this duo from Grand Rapids features a couple of West Michigan's finest Celtic Musicians!
THE HUBBARDSTON IRISH DANCE TROUPE - Probably one of the biggest crowd pleasers we feature! See why everyone who has ever experienced this talented group of dancers always asks when they will be back! You don't want to miss this!!!
MILLISH - This world renowned instrumental group features some of Michigan's most talented musicians playing some "non-traditional" Celtic music! This is an act that must be experienced live. MILLISH has graciously rescheduled the Celtic Sunday Series into their very busy, national and international tour schedule after getting "snowed out" in January! They felt very bad about not getting here, and want to re-pay the West/Central Michigan audience by coming back and giving you all a show to remember!
CRAIC WISELY - The 2006 Celtic Battle of the Bands Winner is returning to the Ionia Theatre Stage to close out the Celtic Sunday Series! Celtic Music Fans of all ages became dedicated "Craic Heads" during this band's two Ionia performances last year! Come see why they are considered one of the Mid-West's top live acts to see, (Celtic or otherwise!) High energy is an understatement when describing Craic Wisely's approach to traditional Irish favorites and with great original tunes bound to become traditional themselves someday! We challenge you not to tap your toes or clap your hands through this act!!!
All this for only $7.50 a ticket! All on one stage, on one afternoon!

Craic Wisely for St. Patrick's Day! [Mar. 16th, 2007|11:43 am]
Craic Wisely fan blog

Craic Wisely St. Patrick's Day 2007Let the festivities begin!
Tonight we’re gathering in Grandville to hop onboard the party van at about 7pm and drive to Lansing to the new Dublin Square to get there about an hour or so before Craic Wisely hits the stage!
We’ll be there until Craic wraps up and head back to hotels and the likes.
On Saturday we’ll drive to Grand Rapids to Quinn & Tuite’s for the 1pm show and then drive back to Lansing for the 6pm show back at Dublin Square.
We still have extra T-shirts, so if you’re interested you’ll have to catch us at the shows and hope we’ve still got a few left!
Hopefully we’ll have pictures and maybe a video or two on www.craicstuff.com (or at least links to them on the site).
